Το πυκνό χρώμα είναι το κύριο εκφραστικό μέσο της εικαστικής μετάφρασης του φοβερού σαλπίσματος από τον τρίτο Άγγελο στο έργο της Ειρήνης Κανά. Το χρώμα πλάθει τα σχήματα, τις μορφές και δημιουργεί την ατμόσφαιρα της ουρανόσταλτης καταστροφικής φωτιάς. Το δυνατό κόκκινο τ’ ουρανού όπου προβάλλεται η χρυσή -σύγχρονη μορφή- σάλπιγγα, τα μαβιά της γης και των ποταμών περιβάλλουν και προβάλλουν την πνευματική άϋλη χωρίς περίγραμμα μορφή των Αγγέλων. Το κείμενο γίνεται ζωγραφική μεταφορά του λόγου και όχι απλή περιγραφή.
Dense color is the main expressive medium of the visual translation of the third’s Angel’s terrible trumpeting in Irini Kana’s work. Color moulds the outlines, the forms and creates the atmosphere of the destructive fire sent from heavens. The intense red of the sky where everything is projected the golden of a contemporary form-trumpet, the dark colors of the earth and of the rivers that surround and project the spirityal –yet deprived of an outline- form of the Angel. This text becomes painting. A pictorial rendition of speech and not a simple description.

Και ο τρίτος άγγελος εσάλπισεν· και έπεσεν εκ του ουρανού αστήρ μέγας καιόμενος ως λάμπας, και έπεσεν επί το τρίτον των ποταμών και επί τας πηγάς των υδάτων.
And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.
